What’s Got Heart?
In March 2010, students from the Harvard Pakistan Student Group teamed up with YOUR DIL to organize a formal national campaign urging the Government of Pakistan to increase spending on girls education. The first phase envisions 100 students from Harvard, united and mobilized, to officially engage the Pakistani Ambassador to the United States.
YOUR DIL and Harvard Pakistan Student Group plan to organize a series of activities ultimately leading up to a formal please to Ambassador Haqqani to make an official recommendation to the Government of Pakistan to allocate another 1% of GDP towards public spending on education, with a special emphasis on girls literacy. The campaign is called, "Girls Literacy Pakistan! Got Heart?"
