YOUR DIL LA (YD LA) was founded in July 2006. Given that the parent organization, DIL, was founded in LA, it was appropriate to launch one of our first chapters in LA. Our original goal had been to reinstate the mission of DIL among the younger generation of existing DIL supporters. As we have grown over the last few years, we have expanded with events that have drawn entirely new supporters to our cause.

YD LA has hosted an array of events such as bowling parties, beach BBQs, dance performances, and a fashion show. YD LA hosts 2-3 events each year, which attract a diverse group of young professionals each time. We are growing the organization at fast a pace and allowing networking amongst youngsters while raising funds and awareness for our cause of literacy.
