Austin Chapter

YD Austin was founded in 2009. As one of the latest additions to our growing footprint, YD Austin promotes the group's mandate by appealing to young Pakistani professionals in the greater Austin area as well as members of the University of Texas community. Having recently hosted its inaugural event, YD Austin is currently brainstorming several other initiatives to branch out further and raise awareness amongst the local population.

Austin Chapter History

YD Austin kicked off the year with its inaugural dinner and cultural music event. Hosted at the Steiner Ranch, the evening featured musical performances from the Middle Eastern ensemble Bereket, as well as a Qawwali performance by UT Austin’s Riyaaz. YD Austin successfully attracted enough interest to raise approximately $8,500, which was contributed towards future DIL projects.
